A temperature or fan control is unavailable
Open What works on this PC in Power User mode. An unavailable sensor does not mean a component has failed. Manufacturer firmware, drivers, and supported interfaces determine which controls are available. Do not substitute an estimate for a direct safety reading.
My PC feels slow
Use “Why is my PC slow?” to review recent CPU, memory, direct temperature, and disk readings. Repeat under the same workload. A single high reading does not identify the cause. Open Activity Monitor to inspect apps you recognize.
Pro purchase or restore is missing
Update to the current Microsoft Store version, 1.9.13 or later, then sign into Microsoft Store with the account that made the purchase. Open Pro access and choose Restore purchases. Store processing and add-on availability may take time; do not buy again to resolve a missing license.
How do updates work?
Open Microsoft Store, go to Downloads or Library, and check for updates. Restart SwiftPulsePC after updating. Version 1.9.13 simplifies dashboard diagnostics and Settings, improves protection for local controls, and adds encrypted local companion sessions. New releases may take time to reach every PC.
A cooling change failed
Read the reported verification error and check hardware compatibility. Keep your recovery snapshot and any recovery journal. Avoid repeatedly applying a control that reports an unsupported interface.
Share diagnostics with support
In PC Health, choose Export Diagnostic Bundle. Review the exact fields before saving and share the file only if you choose. Include your app version, Windows version, PC model, steps to reproduce, and expected result. Never attach passwords, license keys, or a complete settings backup.
Which PCs are supported?
SwiftPulsePC targets 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. Monitoring availability varies by sensor and driver. Cooling and tuning require compatible vendor interfaces; the app cannot unlock firmware controls your manufacturer does not expose. See Hardware compatibility for tested scope.
A reading or control is unavailable
Run Check My PC from PC Health, then open What works on this PC for sensor and control details. Hardware varies between PCs, and an unavailable sensor does not mean that a component has failed. Cooling and tuning controls require a supported interface. See hardware compatibility.
Prepare a useful bug report
- Note your SwiftPulsePC version and Windows version.
- Describe the steps, expected result, and what actually happened.
- Use a redacted diagnostic export if needed, and review the file before sharing.
- Exclude passwords, license keys, private filenames, and complete backups.
After a failed change
Check the app’s recovery controls and retain any before-restore backup or recovery journal. Avoid repeatedly applying a control that reports unsupported hardware or failed verification.
